“Is that copyright safe?”This client-posed question is too taxing for the average, everyday salesperson.
I have been working as a salesperson in an advertising-related company for over 10 years, and I have often wondered about the above-mentioned intellectual property rights issue in my sales activities. I concluded that this problem would never be solved unless I deepened my understanding of intellectual property rights, so I began studying for a patent attorney examination while working for the advertising-related company. After passing the patent attorney examination, I left my post to work for a patent firm because I wanted to contribute to manufacturing.
Outside of work, I’m a believer that beer is the only drink of choice when I go out with colleagues or my friends to unwind. We have a commonly-eaten accompaniment to beer called yakitori (skewered, grilled chicken), which is my go-to snack at ‘izakayas’ (Japanese-style pubs).
